Why EFTERA exists

Built by a Red Seal, caffeine-fuelled, exhausted worker who got tired of being treated like just another number after 20 years in the trades.

I knew what I earned. I knew my rate. I knew the overtime. What I didn’t always know was what all those hours away, missed milestones and memories were actually building.

I’ve made mistakes. I’ve learned hard lessons. As the cost of everything kept climbing, I wanted to see where the money was actually going, who was getting what share of it, how to make it go further, and how to plan for a future that is never completely certain.

I got tired of seeing jobs presented as “good” because the headline number looked good. We spend too much of our lives trading time for money to make those decisions from one number.

You can make more money.
